What forms of payment does Plant-Based Perspective take?
All clients are required to keep a credit card on file for self-pay fees, deductibles, copays, late cancellation/no-show fees, and amounts insurance tells me is your responsibility. HSA & FSA cards are also accepted at time of payment.
Will my health insurance cover Dietitian services?
It's very likely! Plant-Based Perspective is currently in network with CareFirst, Medicare, Aetna, United Healthcare, and various Medicare Advantage plans. We can provide a Superbill after your appointment for you to provide to your insurance company for out-of-network reimbursement. For instructions on how to find out if your insurance will cover seeing a dietitian, please contact us!
Can I come for an in-person visit?
No. Currently Plant-Based Perspective conducts all visits virtually via telehealth.
